Meeting with the Joomla Association Sweden - new bord was elected

Just before Joomla!Night Stockholm we had our yearly meeting for the Joomla Association Sweden. Sarah Watz, CEO at Pixpro  was elected President for yet another year.

Today we released PixSearch New Generation for Joomla 1.6 - BETA

We attended Joomla!Night Stockholm

The second Joomla!Night Stockholm was arranged by the Joomla Association Sweden May 27th 2011. We were there and listened to Danwei Tran Luciani from Microsoft that presented HTML5 and Cloud Computing. Then there was Stefan Gagner that made a live migration from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 1.6. Sarah Watz made a short recap of JAB 2011.

We had some minor technical difficulties with the labs.pixpro.net website that caused broken links in the download section.

This is now fixed and you can download PixSearch via our downloads section.

We attended and sponsored Joomla!Night Stockholm

The worlds first Joomla!Night was arranged in Stockholm by the Joomla Association Sweden on February 4th, 2011. Pixpro were one of the sponsors and most of the team were there and listened to:

 Ryan Ozimek, president of Open Source Matters. He talked about the vision for Joomla in the future.
Marco Barbosa, a designer and usability expert, talked about Molajo, a distribution of Joomla 1.6.
Johan Janssens, Nooku lead developer, talked about Nooku, a development framework for Joomla.

This was also filmed so you can see the webcast (the seminar starts after the first 15 minutes so please forward the film).
